“Success is a journey, not a destination. The doing is often more important than the outcome.” – Arthur Ashe

At first, it was frightful to know that I will encounter the subject Oral Communication. Knowing that my weak point is speaking  in front of the crowd and using the English Language, it was a very tough challenge for me. My most memorable experience in this subject was the delivery of the extemporaneous and impromptu speeches. I was at my disadvantage that time since I was not able to think clearly plus it is hard to express in another language. But, I am happy that I was able to share my talent in group reports when it comes to effort and design. Using the technology we have to make a graphic organizer was also a fun experience. I learned to work with digital designing and I am thankful for that.

On the other hand, the Reading and Writing course was my favorite. Before, I was excited to write  anything my proctor will task  me to do because I realized that writing would greatly help improve my grammar and vocabulary. I could never believe and imagine that we already wrote many  written outputs in the span of two months, a total of 20 written tasks.

I am truly blessed and thankful that HE gave me this opportunity to expand my horizon in literature, and harness what I lack in terms of speaking and writing. This journey was worthwhile and I am ready and more prepared to take on any reading and writing challenges that may come.
